TAM was the official sponsor of the 2016 Rio Olympics and carried the torch from Greece to Brazil. This A319 was the first A319 rolled out in the new LATAM corporate image; it sported the special decals for a short period of time. The livery was modified in September (see separately).

TAM was the official sponsor of both the 2016 Olympics and Paralympics. This first of initially 4 logojets was different on both sides and represented graphics of the official organisation, with stylized sugar loafs on the port side and a pandeiro on the starboard side. A pandeiro is a type of tambourine used in Capoeira.
